Blue State Threads was built to fund the fight, not chase profit.
Each year, 30% of our profits go directly to organizations defending LGBTQIA+ lives, Black communities, mental health, reproductive freedom, and human rights. These are groups pushing back hard against fascism, hate, and systemic violence.
The remaining 70% covers the essentials — product sourcing, site maintenance, paying queer artists, and developing new drops that keep the resistance dressed and visible.
We keep things transparent. Donations are made once our year-end profits (after covering operational costs) reach at least $1,000. If we fall short in a given year, that 30% is held and rolled over to the next — because we believe in impact, not empty gestures.
Where the Money Goes
We don’t fund bloated charities or performative nonprofits. We back groups that show up, do the work, and fight for real change.

These platforms profit off hate, amplify lies, and bend over backward for authoritarianism. We’re not here to make nice with algorithms. We’re here to build something real. That means no ads. No corporate handshakes. No compromising.
